On May 28, 2015, the Liaoning International Sourcing fair, hosted by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, undertaken by China International Electronic Commerce Center and Trade2CN, has been successfully held in Shenyang. The Liaoning International Sourcing fair has been unanimously affirmed and praised by local government, foreign buyers and domestic enterprises. Zhongxun Zhou, Deputy Governor of Liaoning Province, Guanghai Yao, secretary of China International Electronic Commerce Center and Jun Tian, president of Trade2CN have been invited to attend this trade event.
The fair has invited over 200 high quality foreign buyers from the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, South Korea, Indian and many other countries and regions. The Russian Far East Bridge Group, Turkey global sourcing center and other leading multinational groups made a special trip to Liaoning to participate this business event. Foreign companies come from diversified industries, including machinery, building materials, hardware tools, food, arts and crafts, clothing, lighting, and agricultural products. These foreign purchase representatives came to Liaoning and had face-to-face meetings with over 900 companies in Liaoning province for business opportunity exchanges.
In order to facilitate communication between Chinese and foreign companies, Dalian Guofuqiang Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd and Trade2CN built a professional translation team to ensure the smooth progress of the meeting. The participants are impressed with the advantages of the combination of e-commerce and traditional trade fair, from online to offline. In addition, Trade2CN also presented the Chinese participants a new cross-border e-commerce platform, which aims at helping Chinese companies “do business abroad”. This platform works as a bridge between the Chinese and European companies, enabling both sides to deepen mutual understanding and exploring business opportunities. This platform presentation has received many positive feedbacks from the Chinese companies and their European counterparts.
During the meeting, both Chinese and foreign parties have shown great enthusiasm. The suppliers introduce their products with brochures, product samples and on-site demonstration. Many local companies have found potential business partners and show interests in following up for further cooperation. After the meeting, some foreign buyers went to visit the factories of the Chinese companies. The estimated intent turnover reached US$285 million.
